03:30 pm: Dr Phil & Chronic Lyme
Tomorrow Dr. Phil is going to have a segment on Chronic Lyme.  It's the last portion of the segment, which also talks about human euthansia (not related, really). 

Turns out one of his staff members has chronic lyme.  There is also a model (who looks like she isn't getting help) and a San Diego Newscaster.

11:51 am: Help to remove outdated Lyme Disease Guidelines
I don't normally send out things like this but it's something that has effected my quality of life for the last 13 years. If these guidelines get changed there is a greater chance for people like me to get diagnosed and have insurance cover their treatment. Please take a moment to read and sign the petition. Anyone in any state, even city folk, can get Lyme Disease.

Help to remove outdated Lyme Disease Guidelines from NGC
These guidelines affect diagnosis, insurance coverage and treatment for Lyme Disease. The CDC acknowledges that Lyme Disease is grossly unreported (due to these guidelines) and every year 3 million people contract Lyme, surpassing West Nile Virus, and AIDS patients. 11:51 pm: Yarn Harlot In Baltimore

11:44 am: Felt fabric birds
I making these birds to create a mobile. Complete with real twigs. Idea from:http://www.spoolsewing.com/blog/2008/05/16/bird-mobile/

Perhaps I will add felt leaves. I don't know if I like the additional brown to this color scheme. It has its place in a second color scheme I have in mind. I need to get more felt to complete. Stay tuned.

12:06 pm: Aquatic pendant with lotus
Same glass. Again differences in heating/cooling? Design was created by scratching off the dichroic film to reveal black glass underneath. These two are some of my favorites

12:04 pm: Aquatic spirals
These images show the colors pre-fused. The first pic above, second pic at an angle. In the third pic u can see the angled pic shows its post-fused color. The third pic has two post fused objects of the same glass. Differences in tempreture make them different colors. I'm not sure if its how I let the kiln cool in between firings or if the microwave is a beast.

Made on my knifty knitter small blue loom. Simply done as toe/heel twice to make a sphere . Sewn up, padded with poly fill, and googly eyes hot glued on.
